Embedding without username pop-up at bottom of photo

I've managed to embed onto a black background.  (To eliminate white spots at bottom, must set showBorder=false and must set height = 400).  See www.nyny.info

A problem, however, is that the embedded photo gives access to one's entire album because of the user name that creeps up from the bottom of the photo.  For many purposes, I don't want people to see the other photos in my online album(s).

Unfortunately, however, when the photo loads, or when mouseover near the bottom of the embed, my name (gary) comes up from the bottom of the photo, and one can then click on it and see my entire portfolio.  That is very bad if I want to embed different photos in different places, and don't want one to reference another.

So is there a way, or can you please add an optional command to the iframe code, for something like showName=false?  If the name didn't pop-up on mouseover, then the problem would go away.

Alternatively (but less critical than the above), there could also be an instance where I might want the displayed photo to allow for a click on my username to go the lytro site to show an entire album, but only that album and no others.  Currently there is no way to limit it to just that single album.  So an additional enhancement would be to add a command of something like showAlbum=nameofalbum  . . . but first, if you could get the showName=false command implemented, that would be most critical.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Gary -

I ran into a similar issue and found that if I surround the iframe in a div that is a little smaller in height (you may have to tinker with this, but slightly smaller than a square) and has a style of overflow:hidden, it would make inaccessible the hover area that causes the name to pop up. It still pops up in the beginning, which isn't ideal, but once is slides down it won't come back (without a reload/refresh). Meanwhile you still have access to the Lytro icon and full-screen option.

Not a complete solution, but maybe a reasonable temporary fix to consider.

Hey Dean,

Thank you that worked.  As you noted, it's a temporary hack, not a solution by any means.  Looking forward to a more elegant solution from Lytro.

Thanks,

Gary
