A dock connector -> USB + an app for the iPad to process the pictures would be great. Sometimes you just can't wait to get home. :)

I totally agree with this. I'm hoping that perhaps a 3rd party person can create one?

Apple makes a USB adapter for the iPad
May be part of a set of two adapters, the other of which accepts an SD card

Yup, so all we need is an app to view/edit on the iPad.

Even a viewer/library app would be a start. But I like this idea too.

I'd like to see this. I love to see some sort of app builder or player, too, that would allow mobile sharing of Lytro slideshows.

Definitely need an iPad App. The "hold-in-your-hands" interactivity of the iPad and the interactivity of the "Living Pictures" from a Lytro camera are made for each other. Viewing on the web via the iPad is just barely acceptable. Frankly, the pictures are too small and you can't resize, and the site lately loads the pictures too slowly, and sometimes never does finish loading them -- it just hangs. Processing on the iPad is needed as well. Preferably with some ability to edit the picture as well (exposure, contrast saturation, cropping...) Wish the desktop app would have editing capability as well.

This camera is not ready for prime time!
How can you put out a camera that does not work with the IPad?
Having an application for the IPad would have been my FIRST Application for showing off this camera especially given the quality of the new displays.
Almost all real graphic devises work with Photoshop for importing photos and camera data, why Lytro did not get in bed with Adobe before releasing this camera is a sin!

I saw a reference to a Lytro 3D image on iPad in the July Outdoor Photographer Magazine. I have checked with support @ Lytro, and they cannot comment yet. This will be exciting, and obviously will include iPad app. Stay Tuned

I very much doubt if iPad has the computational power to deal with Lytro living pictures.... But it would be interesting to see if Lytro has any plans for any sort of integration there.. for a remote shutter release if nothing else....

The iPad has the power it may be a little slower but not by much. But I too wish I could use my iPad with this camera.

Not having an iPad App is a major marketing error! Get to work pronto!
Thanx
