Tracking numbers, regardless of shipping method (UPS, USPS, Fedex), may not work for the first several hours after you've received your shipment confirmation email; this is normal as It takes a little while for the tracking information to make it into the shipper's online tracking system.
That means you shouldn't worry if you check your tracking number right away and get a 'not found' error such as the following message: "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." Your tracking information should be available online later that evening.
