How do I copy images from the camera to my windows machine?

At this time I just need to offload the pictures until the windows software is ready. I'm already filling up the capacity.

Dave, I'm afraid you can't, at least not directly.   The only workaround I can suggest is to find a Mac, offload your pictures there, and move the resulting Lytro Library onto external storage.  Each picture is about 16meg, so be sure and bring storage that is big enough to hold a Library of that size.   For example, an 8GB Lytro camera, at capacity, will produce a library that's about 6GB.

Dave, I am in the same boat... Aside from building a Hackintosh (often PCs running Mac OS X are referred to as such) I think we have to wait for the Windows version.

Thx Adam - a well meaning response. But, as one of the 96% who use a Windows desktop, I am probably noy going to buy a Mac machine just to use a Lytro camera. ;-)

Best wishes.

Again, please push out Windows support, NOW.

I would really like to try to utilize this camera tech.  Had $500 invested in it as a gift by someone.  Am now considering returning it as I see the product is unsupported at this time, and has been for months.  Even an end date would be good to know.

Even if the Windows app requires updating in a month that's fine, just allow Windows users to offload their pictures!  Please?

Yep still waiting for the windows version.  I also have an Ipad and if there were an app for it I would be happy.  As it is the Lytro sits in a box.  Might give it to someone else.

Stay tuned folks.  We still can't give you specific details but don't go giving your Lytros away just yet, Windows is happening soon!

I was about to click on buy, but then saw the Lytro is only Windows 7+ supported. Looking closer it seems it's not even windows 7 supported.

If it's not windows supported, does it have any wireless capability to send the web image to something? It seems completely pointless as a device if you can't even see or share your images. Especailly for $400. Can you please give a date when it will be windows functional?

The windows software is now avaialble online from the Lytros web site.  I just ordered the camera but decided to go ahead and download the software. Software downloaded on my Windows 7 64 bit system just fine, now if I only had the camera in hand!  ;-)
