In a word, yes. Light field technology does not solve for motion blur. Neither of the following kinds of blur can be refocused:
- Camera motion blur - The camera moved as you took the picture. Like any camera, the Lytro camera should be held steady to capture light effectively.
- Subject motion blur - Your subject moved as you took the picture. Here is an example of a living picture with a subject in motion, a skateboarder in mid-jump.
